www.catholicbiblical.ca - At the 2008 Synod of Bishops on “The Word of God in the Life and Mission of the Church” we read: “The Church must take up the new ways suggested by the Spirit today to ensure that the various manifestations of the Word of God be known, discerned, loved, and more profoundly grounded and lived in the Church, thereby becoming the Word of Truth and Love for all people.”

With this vision the following summarizes the renewed CBAC mission: The CBAC`s mission is to build community within our parishes by energizing Catholics to embrace the Scriptures as a foundational source of spiritual nourishment for our journey in service to God’s people.

    Who doesn’t know that in Canada abortion is an allowable ‘medical procedure’?  Very few, I’m guessing. I also guess that the vast majority of Canadians have never considered how this social contagion has found its way into Canadian society.

    This week, I had the opportunity to hang out with some high school students as  we embarked on a  "pilgrimage walk".  We processed through parts of South Regina, with a group of about 70 teenagers, stopping at various points along the way to pray and reflect.
