Each week a short reflection on the Catechism of the Catholic Church will be posted.  It will be a topic drawn from the Sunday readings or from one of the 48 leaflets of the Growing Faith Project.  This reflection can be used in a number of ways: reading it at Mass, including it as a bulletin insert, discussing it as part of a faith sharing, or as resource information.

The #’s in the brackets [123] refer to the paragraph in the Catechism from which the information is taken.

A reflection question based on the Sunday readings will also be included.  The aim is to use the question as a time of faith sharing for meetings and gatherings in the parish during the week.

You are also welcome to post your response to the question.

This week, I had the opportunity to hang out with some high school students as  we embarked on a  "pilgrimage walk".  We processed through parts of South Regina, with a group of about 70 teenagers, stopping at various points along the way to pray and reflect. We were led by some pretty talented wandering minstrels!
