January 29 — Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1. May Jesus drive the unclean spirits of greed and injustice out of our society.  We pray to the Lord.

  2. May we hear the voices of today’s prophets calling us to live in balance with creation.   We pray to the Lord.

February 5 — Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1.  May those who devote their time and energy to caring for the Earth remain committed and faithful to this ministry.   We pray to the Lord.

  2. For a greater awareness of God’s presence in all creation, and for a readiness to meet God there.   We pray to the Lord.

February 12 — Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1.  May we do what we can to make our Earth a cleaner, safer place for all.  We pray to the Lord.

  2. Jesus cured the leper with a healing touch; may we walk gently upon our suffering earth. We pray to the Lord.

February 19 — Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1. May people paralyzed by powers beyond their control be met with justice as they struggle to change the system.     We pray to the Lord.

  2. May we co-operate with those who work to renew the face of the earth. We pray to the Lord.

February 26 — Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time

  1. As Jesus resisted temptation in the wilderness, may we resist temptation to enrich ourselves by harming the Earth. We pray to the Lord.

  2. During this season of Lent, may we develop values that do not harm to the Earth but create peaceful space within and around us. We pray to the Lord.
