S.E.R.V.E. 2012 – May 5 – June 9 – in Toronto

The deadline to apply for S.E.R.V.E. is quickly approaching.  One very short month is all that remains!  Please give some thought to applying for this opportunity, or encouraging someone you know who might benefit from the experience to apply!

S.E.R.V.E. (Summer Endeavour in a Redemptorist Volunteer Experience) is a 5 week volunteer program offered by the Redemptorist Priests and Brothers providing 6 men and women (age 18 – 30) an opportunity to deepen their Faith through fostering a sense of mission, service, prayer and spirituality.  The program will be based at Redeemer House, in downtown Toronto.  As part of the S.E.R.V.E. experience, participants will be assigned to work at one of several volunteer agencies in the local area.  Opportunities for service may include inner-city ministry, soup kitchens, shelters, or ministry with refugees.

A bursary will be offered to successful applicants upon completion of the program.

Applications to participate and references must be received by the S.E.R.V.E. Co-ordinator by March 1, 2012.  Application and reference forms can be found on our website
