”One day by God’s grace we will all be one and the world will be transformed.” With those hopeful words, Qu’Appelle Diocese Bishop Gregory Kerr-Wilson concluded his homily at the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity ecumenical service held Friday, January 21, at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. Kerr-Wilson was the special guest at the service together with children from St. Pius X, Roman Catholic School and the Curtis Horne, Seventh Day Adventist Christian School. Eight churches from south Regina took part in the service; Argyle Baptist, Christ the King, Grace Mennonite, Lakeview United, Seventh Day Adventist, St. Luke’s Anglican, St. Mark’s Lutheran and Sunset United.

Christ the King Pastoral Assistant Eric Gurash led the service after Christ the King Pastor Revered Sathiadas Antony welcomed everyone. The ecumenical choir was directed by Laura Dubois of Christ the King and Curtis Horne Christian School children sang two special hymns.
