MYRIAM FAMILY CELEBRATE 10 YEARS

Ten years have gone by quickly for the Myriam Family of the Prairies. They first arrived in Gravelbourg then moved to Regina where, 75 people gathered in celebration on June 3. Special guests Reverend Laurier Poulin and Brother Alexander Djoric came from the Mother House in Baie Comeau, Quebec for the occasion. It was also an introduction to a new book written by Myriam Family Founder Sister Jeanne Bizier, “Holiness for All.” In just 10 years the Sisters have become prominent in the Catholic community providing biblical studies, facilitating retreats and taking part in liturgical services when requested.

    This week, I had the opportunity to hang out with some high school students as  we embarked on a  "pilgrimage walk".  We processed through parts of South Regina, with a group of about 70 teenagers, stopping at various points along the way to pray and reflect.
