Wendy Lynn Lerat is from Cowessess "Reserve", Saskatchewan, Treaty 4 territory. Growing up and having the life experience of being part of an Original/Indigenous People's community has provided Wendy with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Indigenous Peoples today. This understanding has been the source of inspiration for her career and life goals, and has been the most important point of reference in developing sustainable solutions for the issues facing the human family.
