Churches Together - The time has come! You are invited to a dialogue about our vision of Christian unity. What do we mean by full visible unity? How would that change our churches? Join together with Anglicans, Lutherans, Roman and Ukrainian Catholics as we discuss our ecumenical covenant on the way to the unity for which Christ prayed: "that they all may be one." What are some of the practical ways that we can respond to God's call to unity? Join the dialogue on Saturday, May 11 from 9:30am to 3pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina. The morning session will examine our covenantal vision. After lunch, we will consider our covenantal life together. This free event is intended for all, including clergy, lay leaders, and anyone who wishes to learn more. Suggested contribution for lunch: $10.
No registration required. Contact Nick Jesson, njessonarchregina [dot] sk [dot] ca, 306-352-1651, for further details. The 2011 covenant between Anglican and Roman Catholics in southern Saskatchewan is being renewed to include our ELCIC Lutheran and Ukrainian Catholic partners.
This dialogue day is offered in preparation for the new LAURC Covenant which can be found at https://bit.ly/2V5vQQy
