The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Regina is responsible for the administration and organization of all Parishes located in south Saskatchewan. We are seeking to hire a part time Annual Appeal Assistant for the Annual Appeal office (14 hours per week). This individual will provide administrative support to the Donor Services Coordinator, be committed to accurate and thorough record keeping in our database and be resourceful in their administrative duties. Confidentiality is of upmost importance in this position.
Job Title: Annual Appeal Assistant
Hours: 8 month contract with opportunity for this opening to be extended, 14 hours per week
Reports To: Donor Services Coordinator
Overview: The Archdiocese of Regina – Annual Appeal Office performs Annual Appeal Campaign fundraising activities including donor and parish relations, data management, gift processing, reporting, appeals and special events.
Maintain accurate personal information in database
Handle incoming mail
Respond to queries from parishioners and parishes
Ensure donations balance and follow-up where required
Maintain procedure manuals
File campaign documents
Assist with posting donations to database, reporting, acknowledgement letters and Income Tax Receipts
Perform all administrative tasks for Annual Appeal Committee meetings
Assist with distributing campaign materials
Special projects as required
Preference for a practicing Catholic who is a member of a parish community
Prior experience or training in an office setting
Demonstrated competency in using Microsoft Office with DonorPerfect experience being an advantage
Demonstrated competency balancing numbers
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
