The Archdiocese of Regina is seeking a servant leader as Director of Pastoral Services with demonstrated abilities to: listen to the people we serve, empower and equip those called to serve as employees and volunteers, and follow through on making vision a reality.

Accountable to: Archbishop of Regina

Nature of the Work: Full-time, Permanent (Some evenings and weekends required)

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Bishop and Administrative Council members in carrying forward the Bishop’s vision and Pastoral Priorities of the Archdiocese.

Oversee, support, and manage the Archdiocesan Pastoral Ministry offices and staff.

Work effectively alongside clergy to support vibrant and vital parish communities.

Facilitate and/or Chair working groups and committees as assigned.

Discern, promote, and, where applicable, lead effective strategic planning and change processes within the Archdiocese.

Serve as a resource for faith formation within the Archdiocese as requested.

Effectively collaborate with Finance personnel in the budgeting, planning, and stewardship of the Archdiocese.

Participate in ongoing professional development to achieve the diocesan priorities.

Qualifications, Experience and Abilities:


Familiarity with and openness to the full range of faith expressed in and structures that govern the Roman Catholic Church.

A practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to parish life 

University Degree(s) in Theology, Education, and/or Administration, and experience working in ministry.

Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships both within formal church structures and beyond them in the broader community; demonstrated ability to engage in dialogue in diverse settings, with a commitment to reconciliation and healing.

Experience managing volunteers and/or employees and executing the necessary human resource processes involved.

Excellent oral, written and technological communication skills; demonstrated experience with vision, strategy, and implementation processes.

Ability to prioritize and navigate multiple assignments and projects.

Strong competency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms and other specialized software capacity an asset.
