Full Time Pastoral Services Support Staff


Reporting to: Director of Pastoral Services andworking under the day to day supervision of the Pastoral Services Admin Assistant

Hours: 35 Hours/Week

Estimated Start Date: November 19, 2018


Position specifications and requirements:

Support staff will:

  • Update the Diocesan website and post items to social media platforms, with oversight provided by the Director of Communications and/or the Pastoral Services Admin Assistant
  • Provide general office admin support for various Pastoral Services Departments with direction from, and in coordination with, the Pastoral Services Admin Assistant.
  • Organize, schedule, prepare and distribute agendas and minutes for meetings and attend meetings to take minutes when requested.
  • Assist at the switch board as required.
  • Assist with the support of the Resource Centre as required.



  • Preference will be given to a practicing Catholic who is an active member of a parish community
  • Prior experience in an office setting
  • Possess a business administration certificate from a recognized institution or have equivalent training or; possess a combination of education and / or experience to meet support staff requirements

  • Have a working knowledge of a variety of office equipment hardware, including but not limited to: printers, photocopiers and projectors.
  • Preference may be given to an individual who has written and oral communication skills in French.
