Reporting to: Director of Pastoral Services andworking under the day to day supervision of the Pastoral Services Admin Assistant
Hours: 35 Hours/Week

Position specifications and requirements:
Support staff will:
Update the Diocesan website and post items to social media platforms, with oversight provided by the Director of Communications and/or the Pastoral Services Admin Assistant
Provide general office admin support for various Pastoral Services Departments with direction from, and in coordination with, the Pastoral Services Admin Assistant.
Organize, schedule, prepare and distribute agendas and minutes for meetings and attend meetings to take minutes when requested.
Assist at the switch board as required.
Assist with the support of the Resource Centre as required.
Preference will be given to a practicing Catholic who is an active member of a parish community
Prior experience in an office setting
Possess a business administration certificate from a recognized institution or have equivalent training or; possess a combination of education and / or experience to meet support staff requirements
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, can work in a collaborative environment.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, with attention to detail with regards to spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing.
Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
Demonstrate ability to work with short deadlines.
Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality.
Be proficient with social media platforms.
Be skilled in the use of Microsoft software suite of products
Have a working knowledge of a variety of office equipment hardware, including but not limited to: printers, photocopiers and projectors.
Preference may be given to an individual who has written and oral communication skills in French.
