Today we gathered to say farewell to Bobbi Yanko and to thank her for her years of service to the Archdiocese of Regina. Bobbi has been with the diocese for the past eighteen years. From 2000 to 2011, Bobbi worked from home on by contract where she created the ARCH newsletter. Bobbi was part of the ARCH since its conception in December 2000. In 2011 she became Director of Communications, and came to work part-time at the diocesan offices. Bobbi continued to do her quarterly work on the ARCH.  Bobbi was also helped to create an online presence for the diocese. She assisted in our website and created our Facebook page. We have appreciated Bobbi’s creative vision and her desire to bring the news of the diocese to the faithful.

Melissa Gurash thanked Bobbi on behalf of the diocese for her years of service and her willingness to mentor other staff. Bobbi was presented with some farewell gifts, including a hand knit infinity scarf in one of her favorite colours.

Happy retirement Bobbi!
