A once in a lifetime event  is only two weeks away, the centennial celebrations of the Gravelbourg Co-Cathedral on November 2 and 3. This National Historic Site and Cultural Gem has become the symbol of Gravelbourg and attracts tourists from all across Canada and beyond.

Architect Joseph-Ernest Fortin's brilliance and Msgr. Charles Maillard's exquisite paintings make of this building the pride of our community and all of Saskatchewan.

Come and show your appreciation to our pioneers who had the audacity and the tenacity, mixed in with a lot of FAITH, to build such an imposing structure - a Catholic Church, yes, but used, more and more, by people of all denominations.

You will find, elsewhere in these pages, the schedule of events for the weekend and the contact person to purchase tickets or even a table for eight.

Bishop Noël Delaquis, a long serving bishop of the former diocese of Gravelbourg will be the guest speaker at the banquet. The Centennial Gala, following the banquet, will be at the Co-Cathedral showcasing a variety of excellent local talent (current and former residents) - ADMISSION FREE, EVERYONE WELCOME!

Archbishop Don Bolen, originally from Gravelbourg, will preside the Eucharistic Celebration on Sunday accompanied by Bishop Emeritus of Gravelbourg Noël Delaquis, Archbishop Emeritus of Winnipeg  James Weisgerber, our Pastor Father Carlos Jimenez and former pastor and current assistant Father Maurice Minne.

A delicious brunch will be served at l'École Mathieu following the mass and a group photo.
