2020 Clergy Appointments

The following are the clergy moves for 2020 and the dates they take effect

Effective August 1, 2020

Rev. Andrew Lindenbach - Associate Pastor of the parishes of St. Joseph, Langenburg; St. Mary, Churchbridge and St. Patrick, Spy Hill

Rev. Paul Mau Nguyen - studying English and Evangelization; and assisting at Resurrection Parish.

Rev. Anthony Tran - Administrator of the parishes of St. Anne, Gull Lake and St. Joseph, Cabri and assisting and residing at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Swift Current

Rev. Clement Amofah -Administrator, parishes of St. John the Evangelist; Rockglen; Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Coronach and St. Ignace, Willow Bunch

Rev. Gerry Bauche -Administrator, St Mary's Parish, Regina

Rev. Thomas Mutavanattu -Administrator, Christ the Redeemer Parish, Swift Current

Effective October 1, 2020:

Effective October 1, 2020:

Rev. Tomy Mandapathil, MST - Pastor of the parishes of St. Joseph, Whitewood; Holy Name of Mary, Broadview and St. Elizabeth, Stockholm

Rev. Amedee Ainemon, sma - Pastor of the parishes of St. Anne, Regina and St. Jean Baptiste, Regina

The above two appointments are for six (6) years unless the good of the Archdiocese requires otherwise.

Rev. Yodel Cereno - Administrator of the parishes of St. Mary, Central Butte; St. Charles, Coderre; St. Joseph, Hodgeville and St. John the Evangelist, Marquis as well as assisting at St. Joseph, Moose Jaw, SK

Rev. Ricardo Escalante - Assistant Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Regina

Rev. Carlos Jimenez - Pastor of St. Jean Baptiste, Ferland in addition to the parishes of Gravelbourg and Lafleche.

Further Information:

Rev. Mgsr. Ken Miller - We owe Mgsr Ken Miller an enormous thank you for his many years of service in the Archdiocese of Regina – not just in parishes but all the administrative duties and committees that he contributed to. May God continue to bless him with good health and happiness in his retirement.

Priests Leaving the Diocese: Rev. Antony Padayatty: Fr. Antony ministered in the Archdiocese of Regina since 2009. He started as Associate Pastor in Estevan for a year. The following year he served in Whitewood, Stockholm & Broadview. After one year the parishes of Esterhazy, Bangor and Gerald were added as well until 2013. He served Redvers, Bellegarde and Storthoaks for the following two years and was most recently Administrator of the parishes of Gull Lake & Cabri since 2016. Fr. Anthony is returning to his religious community, the Heralds of Good News, in India. We thank Father Anthony for his faithful service and wish him God’s abundant blessings in the years ahead.

Msgr. Reymundo Asis -6 month sabbatical to recover from surgery, with replacement ministry;

Rev. Joe Strohhofer -retiring and residing at Trinity Manor

Rev. Eusebio Tubale -retiring with replacement ministry

Heartfelt thanks to Fr. Strohhofer and Fr. Tubale for their generous ministry over many years. We wish them both abundant blessings at this time of transition from full-time ministry.

We also wish to express our gratitude to all who will be assuming new responsibilities. They have responded to the needs of the archdiocese with generous spirits. We ask the people in parishes where changes are taking place to warmly welcome their new pastoral leaders into their midst.
