Susan Klein - Archivist Staff Pick
One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are (Zondervan). By Ann Voscamp
This is my pick for books to read. But just a minute – read is not quite enough. This is a book of hope, of beautiful prose and longing prayers. It is a persons story, well part of it anyway.
Ann is Christian, a wife and a stay at home mother of seven. This book talks of her walking through her life, learning to see things with eyes of gratitude (this isn’t always her first sight), and her beginning a long list of things to be grateful for.
I Loved this book. For people who want to dive into someone else’s journey and maybe learn something along the way – there is a study guide and DVD to go with it. - Susan’s pick (Susan Klein, Archives)
