Visitation House– located in the heart of one of the poorest areas of the city, this centre provides practical, emotional and spiritual support for women in need. Periodically it makes referrals and at other times advocates on behalf of those not supported by social systems. Referral making is important to help those who need support from Addiction Centres, the Transition House, the Food Bank, the Blue Mantle, Social Assistance and medical centres. At times it is able to respond to educational needs.

Earth Care Connections and Genesis Land Conservancy. Earthcare Connections exists to promote the conscious choice of living sustainably on small or medium-sized farms, creating a healthy food system that supports a life-style valued by Saskatchewanresidents. Earthcare manages the Genesis Land Conservancy, which holds land in trust. It is the land that feeds our body.  The Earthcare Balloon* program is an education effort that feeds the mind. The way we think and behave will either lead us toward or away from sustainability.  C-SAW Place works to balance it all together and feeds the human spirit.  In a wholesome, thriving environment many initiatives are taking place.
