We would encourage you to find a way to celebrate this at one of your Masses on July 25.
Ways you can celebrate this in your parishes:
- Celebrate a Mass on this day.
- At the Mass, young people from the parish can present the Holy Father’s message to grandparents and the elderly.
- Services on the day immediately following it can be held in hospitals and care homes, where possible, in accordance with current health restrictions.
- Prior to July 25, encourage your young people to visit their grandparents and other elderly people who live alone and to take the message of Pope Francis to them.
- Promote and spread information on your social media feeds using the hashtag #IamWithYouAlways.
- Share information on the plenary indulgence with your parishioners, ensuring they know the ways they can obtain it.
