National Day of Prayer in Solidarity with Indigenous Peoples
December 12th is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, when the Catholic Church in Canada celebrates National Day of Prayer in Solidarity with Indigenous Peoples. This initiative, coordinated since 2002 by the Canadian Catholic Indigenous Council marks this feast as a day of prayer, solidarity and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples. All are welcome to join in a local celebration of prayer and Indigenous culture at St. Cecilia Parish, Friday, December 12th at 7:00 pm. Food, refreshments, and fellowship will follow.
