“Together in Christ – Regina 2017”
This year is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
How should we mark the occasion? What does the Reformation mean to us today? How can we heal the wounded body of Christ? You are invited to an
ecumenical worship service and dinner on Saturday, October 28 at Trinity Lutheran Church (1909 Ottawa St., Regina).
•3:00 pm – ecumenical service with Archbishop Donald Bolen and Bishop Sid Haugen (ELCIC Sask Synod) will co-preside and preach. The service is drawn from the “Joint
Ecumenical Commemoration of the Reformation” held in Lund, Sweden on October 31, 2016 with Pope Francis and leaders of the Lutheran World Federation. The worship service is open to all.
•4:30 pm – Reception and cocktails
•5:30 pm – Dinner (ticket required). There are limited numbers for the dinner, so we encourage you to get your tickets early. Tickets are $25.00 for Adults; $10.00 for Children 6-12; Free for Children 5 and under.
