Celebrating our Saskatchewan Sisters.
We are pleased to share with you the successful Unveiling and Blessing Ceremony of the monument entitled Called to Serve held on October 1st in Wascana Park, Regina, SK. This monument honours the service of more than 5500 Sisters representing 61 different congregations that came to our province from 1860 until present. These pioneering women founded numerous schools and hospitals, and laid the groundwork for many of our social services that we enjoy today.
The link to the full-length Commemorative Video (below) highlights the story of our founding congregations in Saskatchewan, as well as footage from the event day.
