November 1 —All Saints
Help us follow the example of the ordinary saints who, like Jesus, cared for and reverenced all of creation. We pray to the Lord.
May our political and social leaders follow the gospel in working for the common good. We pray to the Lord.
November 8 — Thirty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time
May we join with all creation in renewing the face of the earth. We pray to the Lord.
Help us to be peaceful in dealing with ourselves, each other and the earth. We pray to the Lord.
November 15 — Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time
May we care for the earth, especially in times of anguish and suffering. We pray to the Lord.
Help us remember, even in difficult times, that our creator is always present with us. We pray to the Lord.
November 22 — Christ the King
May all of creation be freed from the domination of those who exploit its resources. We pray to the Lord.
For Farmland Legacies in its efforts to provide nutritious protein to the needy. We pray to the Lord.
November 29 — First Sunday of Advent, Year C
May we imitate Jesus’ kingship by caring for all creation. We pray to the Lord.
As we begin a new church year, may we resolve to do all we can to protect our environment from abuse and degradation. We pray to the Lord.
