The Little Flower CWL Council joyfully celebrated its 95th anniversary on June 7, 2026, with a meaningful and well‑attended event. Of the ten members, nine were present and actively participated in the celebration. Each member generously contributed food for the refreshments, creating a warm and communal atmosphere in the parish hall. The hall was thoughtfully decorated for the occasion and select archive materials were displayed for parishioners to appreciate the Council’s rich history and legacy.
During the Mass, several members served in various liturgical roles, including community leader, lector, bread minister, and greeters/ushers. The Vice President of the CWL Saskatchewan Provincial Council graced the occasion, delivering the keynote address and conveying congratulatory messages from Archbishop Don Bolen and the CWL Provincial Council President. She also read the citation on the anniversary certificate, which was formally presented to the Council President.
Two CWL members from neighboring parishes joined the celebration, adding to the spirit of unity and sisterhood. A good number of parishioners also came down to the hall to share in the festivities. Fr. Jake Ibay, the Spiritual Advisor, offered an inspirational message, and the past president delivered the closing remarks, bringing the celebration to a heartfelt conclusion.
