On Friday, August 28th, 0ver 1,000 staff members, Archbishop Daniel Bohan, priests and religious of Regina and special guests packed Resurrection Parish for Regina Catholic Schools opening mass and Faith Day Presentations. The Mass unofficially kicked off the beginning of the school year as staff came together in faith to celebrate our Catholic distinctiveness. In addition to the mass, our long-term service recipients were acknowledged. Presentations were also made to Sr. Yvette Plessis in recognition of her fiftieth anniversary of consecrated life and to kindergarten student Rain Ayson, from St. Augustine School who created the art work which was displayed on the t-shirts for kindergarten students. This wonderful day has gotten the 2015-2016 school year in Regina Catholic Schools off to an excellent start.
